Application
Bühler's DRPA-D polisher is used during the most important section of the rice milling process to provide smooth and clean rice. The polished rice is shiny, smooth and free of bran. The flavour of the rice is maintained effectively and the shelf life of the final product is prolonged.

Principle
The SuperPoly™ II rice polisher is equipped with an extended polishing roll and a strong aspiration system. Rice is polished using gentle friction and uniform water injection. This process removes the bran on the surface of rice and ensures rice with a better appearance, quality and increased shelf life

Function
The SuperPoly™ II DRPP polisher processes rice in two steps.
• Humidifier: rice is covered with an even and thin water film. The excellent water flow control ensures the consistency of processing
• Polishing with friction: the silky, shiny and smooth surface is achieved by a gentle friction between rice grains; the friction is adjustable. The cooling and aspiration system maintains the low temperature rise and the clean polishing chamber during processing.
